AR Interface

Hi While uploading the AR Legacy data into oracle AR base table, the following method is used. 1. move the data into custom table 2. do all the validation for the data 3. move the valid data to RA_INTERAFACE tables 4. Use Auto Invoice Concurrent program to move the data from interface table to base tables. Clarification needed 1. The legacy data does not have the code combination id.. inspite of this the data is moved and lines are created with code combination.. can you pls explain me how the code combination id is defined for Revenue, Receivable, Tax 2. Can i modify the default code combination id.. if so how... Regards Yram

1. The legacy data does not have the code combination id.. inspite of this the data is moved and lines are created with code combination.. can you pls explain me how the code combination id is defined for Revenue, Receivable, Tax It uses Auto Accounting setup from the Receivables setup. 2. Can i modify the default code combination id.. if so how... Yes, but you have to populate the ra_interface_distributions_all table with the desired values. Thanks Nagamohan

Hello Code combinations are loaded in the RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL table. You can use the column CODE_COMBINATION_ID or enter the segment values in the columns SEGMENT1…SEGMENTN If you do not enter this information, the system will pick it from the information entered in the Setup/Transaction/Autoaccounting window. Hope this helps. Octavio.

Thanks Nagamohan for the input. some clarification on the ra_interface_distributions_all table, in this table account_class is a not null column... all other columns are null. what value should gointo this with my understanding the legacy data will have the code combination id or the segment column... the code combination id or the segment columns should move to the ra_interface table or ra_interface_distributions_all table... Regards Yram

Yram some clarification on the ra_interface_distributions_all table, in this table account_class is a not null column... all other columns are null. what value should gointo this If you look at the ra_cust_trx_line_gl_dist_all (destination table that houses the data from ra_interface_distributions_all) you will get an answer. But the values are usually mapped to accounting needs based on the document. You can find the values supported from this sql. select * from fnd_lookup_values where lookup_type='AUTOGL_TYPE'; From documentation what I remember is that the REC is not supported to be used from interface, rest I guess you can. Thanks Nagamohan
