sunblade 1500 rebooting after giving sys-unconfig command

hello gurus, As I am facing problem since the sunblade 1500 is not booting after I gave sys-unconfig command, I edited all the files related to N/ws, domain name, hostname etc..and rebooted the system. But again system boots and hostname is taken and when it come to configuring interface bge0: kernel crashes and reboots.. but I am able to go to single user mode and when i gave ifconfig -a, address is assigned and system is also pinging in the LAN.. Pls help me out with the problem. thanks
