New To Java

Setting up Java

Hello all, i'm just re setting up java, after i had to wipe my hard drive, but i'm having a bit of a trouble at the min, i download java 1.5.0 and that went fine, installed it fine, and i did the variables thing. I thought i would test it out to make sure it works, on a program i knew that worked fine before hand, but i got a error come up Exception in thread "Main" java.lang.noclasssder found error, this sounds like error with the program, but i know for a fact that the program is fine, i check the variables in system and those looked fine, so i'm bit lost what to do. Anyone know how to fix this?
