On my development PC with Windows XP all source code and log window lines are double height displayed. Even a new clean installation of JDeveloper 10.1.3 shows the same effect. The choosen font is "DialogInput" (default). Switching the font to "Courier New" corrects the display for source code, but not for the log message window. There are no changes in %JDEV_HOME%\jdk\jre\lib\font.properties. I copied the complete JDev directory to another XP PC. Here everything works fine! Which mechanism does JDevelper use to display the fonts? Does it depend on other configurations than in JDeveloper itself? How can I solve the problem? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Got It! In "C:\Windows\Fonts" I've found an obviously corrupt Type 1 font named Symbol (SY______.PFB). After de-installing the font and physically deleting the font file my JDeveloper 10.1.3 works fine again.
