Log error messages from Debugger

How can I redirect the logs that is generated by JDeveloper while debugging / running a project? Currently the logs are shown on the IDE under "LOG" window. But when the log is too many lines, I am NOT able to see the first lines. Is there a way I can redirect the log to a file? Thanks for any help.

I use LOG4J for this purpose, but not sure if that is what you are looking for. Or are you looking for a peference within the IDE to place the debug log into a file. Why not just copy and paste it into a txt file?

Hi, On the Log page (under Environment) in preferences, you can check the "Save Logs to File" checkbox. Specify a log directory, and logs will be written to this directory. Thanks, Brian
