JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.0: Writing custom request/response handlers

I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.0. I'm trying to use an ADF Web Service Proxy to call a web service that was secured using WSE 1.0, a proprietary Microsoft technology. In the past, we figured out how to call this web service from a STRUTS application with Axis 1.4 autogenerated proxy classes. We provided the authentication credentials and handled custom exceptions using custom request and response handlers that we wrote. Here is the markup we used to deploy these handlers in JBoss: <deployment xmlns="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/" xmlns:java="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/providers/java"> <transport name="http" pivot="java:org.apache.axis.transport.http.HTTPSender"/> <globalConfiguration> <requestFlow> <handler name="WseSecurityHandler" type="java:com.WseSecurityHandler"/> </requestFlow> <responseFlow> <handler name="WseWebServiceFaultHandler" type="java:com.WseWebServiceFaultHandler"/> </responseFlow> </globalConfiguration> </deployment> I'm not sure if these classes that extend the Axis 1.4 "org.apache.axis.handlers.BasicHandler" class will work with whatever technology stack JDeveloper uses to generate its web service proxies. Two questions: 1) If there is a way to re-use these custom handler classes with my ADF web service proxies, where (in OC4J) do I put the deployment markup shown above, and what's the syntax? 2) If there is no way to re-use these custom handler classes, how do I go about re-writing them so I can use them in JDeveloper? Thanks! Jonathan

Hi, I suggest to post this question to the OC4J forum http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jsp?forum=46 Frank

Thanks for the tip.
