JDeveloper and ADF

Slow start of application on Jdev

When I try to startup my app in jdev it takes a very long time. In the messages window I see this [11:07:10 AM] Appc compilation begin Compiling out of process... D:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_18\jre\bin\javaw.exe -Xms128m -Xmx512m -Xv.... Eventually that will finish and the app will startup. But it takes at least 5 minutes - sometimes as much as 20 minutes. Sometimes after that long wait I'll wind up getting this message -- #### Server Instance IntegratedWebLogicServer is currently starting or stopping. Please try again when it has completed. and the app does not start up ... My app is an ADF 10g based app running EJBS and Webservice Proxies. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to speed this up at all?
