Statspack privilege

Hi, One of the normal user wants to collect the statspack report in both 9i and 10g.Is it possible to do so, if it is possible then please provide the exact privilege that i need to grant to the user. Note: I tried taking AWR report as normal user but i could not do it. Please provide me the solution. Thanks Poornima

If you mean that the user should be able to run spreport.sql script, you could try to: - create synonyms in the user schema for all tables owned by PERFSTAT - grant SELECT to all PERFSTAT tables to the user. If you mean the user should be only able to take Statspack snapshots, granting EXECUTE privilege on PERFSTAT.STATSPACK package should do the job. Message was edited by: Pierre Forstmann
