INSERT INTO SELECT with subquery


Can I do something like this??  INSERT  INTO  tbl1 SELECT A,B,C,D,ID,(SELECT KEY FROM TBL2 WHERE X=ID),E,F FROM TBL3;  Can I use same column ID in 2 places as above?
